Kinescope

Motion · Animation · Lottie

The first version of the Kinescope website, developed by Embacy, needed a series of small animations. Each demonstrated a product feature and helped explain how it worked. The website was later redesigned, so this case presents animations made for its previous version.

The work started with supplied storyboards. My role was to work out how to bring them into motion: shaping the action, transitions and timing while preserving the meaning of each scene.

I created all the animations presented in this case. Working from the storyboards, I developed the movement of elements and the transitions between states. I also prepared some of the animations that did not contain video in Lottie format for use on the website. The Embacy team developed the branding and website design.

Client: Kinescope. Studio, branding and website: Embacy. Animation and Lottie preparation for selected scenes: Anton Maydurov. Storyboards: supplied by the project team.
