Netflix — Concept Case

Humbleteam developed a concept for new streaming features using Netflix as an example. The idea was to give viewers more control over a film’s content: for instance, showing children classic or popular films while skipping violence, sexual content, nudity and other unwanted scenes. The same mode could also help when watching in public places, such as on a plane. My task was to present the concept in an animated film. This was a studio concept project, not a commission from Netflix.

The film explores viewing scenarios in which people can select an appropriate age-based mode and skip sensitive scenes. Animation demonstrates how the proposed features could work within the interface and in different viewing situations.

I joined with a completed storyboard and created all the animation from beginning to end. I also selected the music. Humbleteam developed the concept and design. The voice-over was recorded at a professional studio, with Humbleteam organising the session. The finished project was published on Behance.
